A much respected family-run garage in Rugby has joined our Protyre network after owners, Mike and Sigrid Furner, decided to sell the business so they could enjoy a well-earned retirement.
But TW Tyres & Autocentre, on Paynes Lane, will remain a family business with Mike and Sigrid’s daughter, Natalie, staying on to run the centre as general manager.
The centre, which has been operated by the Furners for 38 years, specialises in mechanical repairs, as well as supplying and fitting tyres for cars, vans and 4x4s from all leading manufacturers, including Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestone and Continental. It also offers MOT and services.
Simon Hiorns, Protyre’s retail director, said: “Mike and Sigrid ran the centre for almost 40 years and did a tremendous job to grow it into a respected local business. I wish Mike and Sigrid all the best for their retirement and have no doubt the centre is in great hands with Natalie at the helm.
