Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) acquired 100% of the Micheldever Group Ltd in 2017. MTS is a wholesale distributor and retailer of tyres, brake cables and exhausts for cars, motorbikes, tractors and trailers. Since the takeover, the retail division of the Micheldever Group, Protyre, has vastly expanded with a UK network of over 150 fast-fit garages and has ambitious plans to continue to grow, doubling this number size by 2025.

Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd’s brands include Dunlop Tyres, Falken Tire and Ohtsu Tire with manufacturing facilities in Japan, Indonesia, North America and Europe and a global distribution network.
