Mr. Hiroshi Hamada

SRI Senior Executive Officer

Mr. Hiroshi Hamada started his career at Ohtsu Tire and Rubber Company in 1992. Since Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) acquired Ohtsu Tire in 2003, Mr. Hamada has been part of the SRI Group and served as Chairman & President of SRZ – our sister sales and manufacturing company in China – between January 2018 and March 2020. Mr. Hamada has been Senior Executive Officer of SRI since April 2024.

Jon Cowles

Non-Executive Vice Chairman

Jon joined Micheldever in 2007 as Acquisitions Director, later becoming Group Finance Director in 2012, Group COO in 2019 and CEO in May 2020. From October 2024, he transitioned to the role of Non-Executive Vice Chairman. Prior to joining the tyre industry, Jon spent 10 years in Corporate Finance, focusing on M&A transactions in both the private and public equity markets in the UK and internationally.

Graham Mitchell

Chief Executive Officer

Graham has over 20 years' experience in the tyre industry and has acquired extensive experience in the UK and European markets. Graham joined Micheldever in 2019 from Cooper Tyre where he held senior management roles including Sales Director for UK and Western Europe and Sales Director for Northern Europe.

Will Goring

Chief Financial Officer

Will joined Micheldever in January 2020. Prior to this he was Group Financial Controller at Gama Aviation plc, the AIM listed business aviation services company and before that worked in a variety of group and operational roles at the FTSE 100 engineering group, Halma plc, including Chief Accountant and Finance Director of the Elevator Safety Division. Will also worked at Just-Eat, the online takeaway company in its pre-IPO growth-phase, which he joined after completing his training as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte LLP.

Dave Haddock

Logistics Director

Dave started his career in Logistics as a Wincanton graduate trainee straight from university and has held a number of senior management roles with Tibbett & Britten, Homebase, Iceland and B&Q. As the Director of Logistics getting each of the 6 million tyres handled each year to the right place, first time in the most efficient way possible drives the Logistics strategy on a daily basis.

Aly Baxter

HR Director

Aly has acquired HR & Leadership experience across both the UK and European markets. Having joined Micheldever in May 2018 moving from the position of Talent Director from within the Automotive sector Aly has reshaped the HR Service and started to implement a group wide People Agenda. Being FCIPD qualified and having over 25 years of HR experience Aly enjoys shaping and developing HR teams & Services to partner with the business to deliver what's required.

Kate Teasdale

B2B Sales Director

Kate joined Micheldever in September 2024 as the BtoB Sales Director. Having responsibility for MFS, MFDD, 4X4.co.uk, pure wholesale and the specialist division. Kate has over 20 years’ experience in the automotive industry, holding a number of sales and sales leadership positions. Prior to joining Micheldever Kate spent 15 years at Goodyear, working with fleets, independents, national chains, e-commerce and tyre distributors. Her last position as General Manager for the Commercial business, covering sales and operations. Kate has a passion for diversity and inclusion, whilst at Goodyear holding the post of VP for the Goodyear Women’s network.

Julian Hickman

Supply Chain Director

Julian joined Micheldever logistics in 2010, before moving to the commercial team in 2014 with responsibility for purchasing from all tyre and accessory manufacturers together with B2B and B2C pricing. In January 2025 Julian was appointed Supply Chain Director extending the manufacturer role to include our inbound supply chain. Prior to joining Micheldever Julian worked for Wincanton Logistics in various General Manager positions with B&Q, Tesco, Screwfix, St. Ivel and Nestle incorporating both open and closed book contracts.
