Micheldever Group operates in a number of key markets through two trading divisions:

Distribution and Wholesale which operate under the Micheldever Tyre Services Ltd. brand name.

Retail which operates predominantly under the Protyre brand name.

Distribution

Micheldever Tyre Services Ltd. (MTS)

MTS is the distribution division of the Micheldever Group and provides tyres and accessories to over 6000 fast fit and garage based customers which fit to end user vehicles. The company also operate a VMA Division which specialises in providing tyres to vehicle main dealers.

Our priority is to support and grow the business of its customers by providing compelling partnerships and real added value benefits as well as being the UK exclusive distributor, or preferred supplier, for a number of tyre manufacturers including General Tire, Falken, Sumitomo, GT Radial, Kormoran and Runway.

We provide tyres for all makes of car, van, motorcycle, truck and 4x4. With the importance and continual growth of online, we have developed, on behalf of our customers, two websites that allow the end user to order tyres online:

Our specialist technical customer services team are renowned for providing impartial advice to our customers on which 4x4s, bike and SUVs tyres that are best for the end user and have between them over 150 years of experience.

Micheldever Fleet Solutions


Micheldever Fleet Solutions (MFS) believes that your choice of tyre supplier should not dictate how you buy your tyres.

Micheldever recognises that the fleet operators and fleet drivers have specific and often unique requirements and appreciates that no two fleets are the same and therefore have differing needs requiring different solutions.

MFS prides itself in building individual solutions that suit the customers’ needs not their own. By using its product expertise and unique range of group products and services, we work with Fleet Managers to build a modular driven solution tailored to the customers’ needs for their business. 

From simple loose tyre supply to fully integrated and managed fitted solutions and everything in between, MFS will build a solution to suit your needs.
MFS through Micheldever can offer a leading tyre wholesaler, the strongest 4x4 offer in the UK and the UK’s fastest growing retail network (Protyre) working in conjunction with our partner fitters via FTN, MFS can deliver to your needs.

The company invested in setting up Fleet Tyre Network (FTN) to use our unique assets and capabilities to provide an alternative approach to meeting those requirements that is innovative, flexible and extremely cost effective.

Managed by professionals with long careers in providing services to fleet drivers and vehicles, FTN has built a network of 1350 independent fitters that can provide industry leading and extremely flexible services supporting Micheldever Fleet Solutions in delivering a first-class service offering across the whole of the UK, no matter how remote or unique that requirement may be.

Retail

Protyre

The retail division provides tyre fitting directly to the end users'/ customers' vehicles. The division operates predominantly under the Protyre brand name and all new centres acquired are entered into a rebranding programme to extend the Protyre brand.

The retail division offers an additional range of services including MOTs, brakes, servicing and exhausts.

It sells over two million individual tyres each year to end user customers. While the majority of tyres are car or 4x4 the retail division also fits motorcycle, truck and agricultural tyres.
