Falken is partner of Audi Nines MTB

There’s no stopping them! Falken is continuing to support the Audi Nines and is also a sponsor of Audi Nines MTB. 

The Audi Nines MTB, held this week at Bikepark Idarkopf, attract the best mountain bikers to the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

A total of 24 starts of the mountain-bike world, from nine countries, will journey to this unusual setting and will all be captured in the stunning event’s photography.

The list of competitors includes Germany’s number 1, slopestyle maestro Nico Scholze from Filderstadt, free rider Tobi Wrobel from Nuremberg and Lukas Knopf, slopestyler and free rider from Chemnitz.

The course awaiting these highly-skilled athletes is made of up of 14 spectacular features, including a stretch where they will have to take to the water on the quarry lake. The route, designed by active mountain-bikers, will comprise a free-ride line with giant obstacles, combined with a complete slopestyle course that’s packed with drops, jumps and hip jumps.

Falken was also the presenter of the winter version of the Nines. Held this April in Sölden, Tyrol, the event brought together 45 athletes from twelve countries, who showcased their outstanding skills on slopes groomed perfectly for skiers and snowboarders.
