TyreSafe Success For MTS

Micheldever Group has achieved a clean sweep of wins at the annual TyreSafe Awards.

Retail flourished, taking home several awards including ‘Retailer of the Year’ and ‘Online and Social Media’, which is its ninth consecutive TyreSafe award, (Retail previously secured a hat-trick of Retail of the Year awards).

Wholesale also enjoyed a successful night at the TyreSafe awards ceremony, as they scooped the ‘Safety in the Community’ award.

The TyreSafe Awards judging panel commented on our award-winning entries:

Safety in the Community

“The diverse activities which can be used to engage communities in the tyre safety message opens this category up to a broad range of organisations, some of which you might not expect. However, our winner this year has conducted a campaign which makes use of almost every touch-point available with an outstanding mix of online and offline activity further supported by local marketing campaigns.”

Online and Social Media

“The entries in this category were of a very high standard and the judges had a tough, tough, time picking out a winner. However, there was no denying the leverage of substantial resources throughout the year to demonstrate an outstanding commitment to tyre safety. Protyre’s setting of objectives, measurement and analysis was exemplary, justifiably making them the winner of our online and social award.”

Retailer of the Year

“Retailers are the tyre industry’s day-to-day contact with Britain’s motorists and are uniquely placed to pass on the tyre safety message. They’re also among TyreSafe’s most active supporters and commit considerable resources to their campaigning efforts. Our large retailer’s submission demonstrated an outstanding and consistent approach to raising awareness of tyre safety, both in their outlets and across its network. With clear evidence and materials across multimedia sectors and messages, Protyre is a worthy winner.”

It’s great to be acknowledged by TyreSafe for our work in the past year, and we are even more determined to continue taking their message to our customers for the next 12 months and beyond.
