Protyre celebrates another successful round of its Apprentice Programme

Posted on 3rd August 2016

Protyre recently saw nine trainees awarded their toolboxes as part of the 2016 apprenticeship program.

The company currently has nine apprentices on the programme, which runs from November 2015 to May 2017, and will result in each of them achieving a full Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship, as well as a Level 2 diploma in Vehicle Fitting on completion.

The Protyre apprenticeship programme is a block-release training programme that involves the apprentices going on residential training blocks at the Training Centre in Shrewsbury.  Apprentices attend 10 weeks training over 18 months, which allows them to put the knowledge and skills they have learned into practice at Protyre branches.

Area Manager Neil Jones said: “I would like to congratulate our apprentices on the hard work they have put in so far on their training programme and I hope that they have had an invaluable experience while working with us in our branches.

“We are delighted to be able to offer this scheme, which is ideal for bright individuals who are motivated to pursue their desired career, and we wish them every success for the future in the industry.”
