It was established in 1972 and is built upon over 45 years of development and leadership in the replacement tyre market, serving professional tyre retailers across the UK with high quality logistics and business support services.

VMA

VMA is the Franchised Dealer division within the wider wholesale function and works with key Vehicle Manufacturer partners such as Volkswagen Group, Volvo Cars, the Retail Automobile Alliance, Mazda and Toyota, to deliver tyre programmes for their networks, but also support key dealer group partners who chose to operate independently of the VM programmes.

Tyres represents the first opportunity for the customer to leave the franchised dealer network, and so our strategy has been designed specifically to help our franchised dealer customers understand the importance of tyres as one of their key customer retention tools.

We have been operating in the 4x4 market for over 30 years and are now the largest and only dedicated supplier of 4x4 tyres in the country. We are made up of a national network of over 250 independent 4x4 tyre specialists who not only have access to our massive stock range, but moreover pride themselves in delivering a consistent consumer experience always focusing upon what is right solution for the consumer.

The 4SITE4x4 Tyres brand is also supported by a customer services team that love and live by 4x4 and between them have over 120 years of unrivalled industry experience. They give impartial advice to help guide both consumers and our tyre specialists to make informed decisions by offering 4x4 expertise and knowledge on any aspect of the market.

In 2016 we launched our state of the art e-commerce responsive consumer website  www.4site4x4tyres.co.uk that not only allows consumers to find their perfect tyre and/or wheel, but moreover enables them to book online and have them fitted within 24 hours.

We work closely with tyre manufacturers on product development and are the official exclusive distributors of 4x4 tyres for BF Goodrich, General Tire, Sumitomo, Falken, GT Radial, Runway and Insa Turbo Tyres.

The new website capitalises upon the national logistics’ capability of MTS. With real time stock and pricing information; same day, free of charge delivery, MTS is bringing significant innovation to the 2-wheel tyre market.

With the continual growth in the online market – we estimate that over 70% of all tyre searches are done online with 1 in 10 of all tyres fitted now purchased online - we lead the market by providing our customers with a unique website platform to help them promote their business online.

We now have nearly 1000 customers - the largest online tyre network in the UK - with their own localised unique URL and responsive website. The platform not only allows them to take control of their own pricing and branding so that it is tailored to them, but moreover we use the strength of our supply chain to offer consumers a live product feed such that they are able to order tyres for delivery within 24 hours and in some cases the same day.

Our customers, as well as benefiting from a dedicated digital team that provides them with help and advice as to how they can develop their website, also - unlike many other tyre websites – own all the consumer data which in turn helps them to retain the customers and allows them to market to these consumers in the future.
